Buffalo Bull (1998)
The buffalo is one of the most successful African animals in terms of geographical range, abundance and biomass. It reaches maximum density in the well-watered savannas of western Uganda and eastern Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). In a symbiotic relationship, oxpeckers – the bird on this buffalo’s head – eat ticks and other external parasites.
